Where to Eat for Dinner in Greenville, South Carolina || Sassafras Southern Bistro

If you’re looking for a date night or upscale eating experience in the Greenville area, Sassafras Southern Bistro is a great option.

The ambiance is beautiful but a little more mature than some other restaurants in the area.

The selection of food is wide and prices are great for the portion sizes you receive.

For our appetizer, we enjoyed the delicious fried pickles! They’re isn’t anything crazy about them. Just perfectly crispy breading, a yummy and tart pickle, with a little pinch of salt. Perfect!

We shared a main course! For an extra fee they’ll split any entree in two, which was extremely convenient!

The ribeye was perfectly seasoned and cooked to order! Not too much fat, but still marbled enough for that juicy ribeye flavor we all know and love! You’ll see more of the food in our upcoming ‘Guide to Greenville’ video, so stay tuned!

Finally… dessert.

Joanie B. went for the peanut butter pie and it was massive! The flavor wasn’t overpowering, but danced on our pallet like the perfect peanut butter symphony.

Jenni B. went with a classic choice… chocolate cheesecake! This recipe wasn’t on the menu yet, but it was made in house from scratch and ohhhhh boy!

It. Was. Magical.

Sassafras is a great place for dinner, especially for date night or a celebration of any occasion!
