Real Life Cheers Bar in Jacksonville, Illinois || KJB's Pint Haus
What if I told you that nestled on a side street in Jacksonville, Illinois you’ll find a real life Cheers? You know, the place where everybody knows your name, your order, and probably your mom and dad, too.
It’s called KJB’s Pint Haus and the talk of the town is that, not only are they a hometown bar, but they have the best burritos in Illinois. Check out this video…
KJB’s is an experience.
Everything from the atmosphere to the drinks and the food to the classic games puts you in a fog of nostalgia.
We loved watching people come in and Kelly (behind the bar) instantly whipping up their drink. That’s the kind of service you get in a hometown bar or restaurant, especially in a smaller town (20K people) like Jacksonville. One of the many reasons we fell in love.
To feel like you’re known is something so incredibly special. That’s what you get at KJB’s. Kelly and Kelly (crazy, we know!) get to know you, what you like to drink and order. They’ll even get to know your family and who you are as a person.
What a concept.
What a gem of an establishment.
It’s just a fun place. It has the bar vibe without being chaotic or overly loud.
We had such a great time at KJB’s eating, having a little mini beer shot, and playing some fun, nostalgic games (Jenni dominated!). If you’re in the Jacksonville, Illinois area, make sure you check them out. They’re located on East State Street right next to Market House Antiques.
And thank you to Kelly (and Kelly) for letting us come in and experience KJB’s. If we lived in Jacksonville we’d be there hanging out with friends and playing games all the time!
